Power Peanuts
It's your energy booster in pack

Who we are
Power Peanuts was founded in 2024 by Luso-Brazilian Rodrigo Trestini to bring the energy and flavour that Brazilians use in their daily lives to England.
Power Peanuts wants you to have your pack of energy quick and easy to use whenever you need it – at the office while you brainstorm that idea, at the gym to energise your workout, and even on your walk home after a long day when you need to re-energise.
The benefits of Power Peanuts
Protects Against Heart Disease
Peanuts contain resveratrol, a substance with potent antioxidant effects that prevents oxidative damage to cells and helps lower cholesterol, as well as promoting relaxation of blood vessels and reducing blood clotting, thereby preventing cardiovascular diseases
Helps Prevent Atherosclerosis
Peanuts help in the prevention of atherosclerosis because they contain monounsaturated fats, known as "good fats," which help increase good cholesterol. Good cholesterol promotes the elimination of cholesterol that is in tissues, thereby preventing artery clogging.
Fights Anemia
Peanuts can significantly help in the fight against anemia because they contain folic acid, which is a vitamin that stimulates the production of blood cells, such as red blood cells.
Additionally, peanuts also contain iron, which is another very important nutrient for preventing and treating anemia, as it increases the production of red blood cells and hemoglobin. Check out other iron-rich foods that help combat anemia.
Prevents the Onset of Type 2 Diabetes
Due to its monounsaturated fat content, known as "good fat," peanuts help maintain stable blood sugar levels, thereby preventing spikes in blood sugar levels that can lead to the development of type 2 diabetes over time.
Furthermore, peanuts are rich in fiber, which helps reduce blood sugar levels and, therefore, also plays a role in preventing type 2 diabetes
Helps with Weight Loss
Peanuts are a good food for weight management because they are high in fiber, which increases the feeling of fullness and reduces hunger.
Furthermore, peanuts are also considered a thermogenic food, meaning they can boost metabolism, leading to greater calorie expenditure throughout the day, which facilitates weight loss.
However, due to being a high-calorie nut, excessive consumption of peanuts can have the opposite effect, leading to weight gain.
Prevents Premature Aging
Peanuts are rich in vitamin E, which acts as an antioxidant and helps prevent and slow down aging.
In addition to vitamin E, peanuts are rich in omega-3, which is a good fat with strong anti-inflammatory action that prevents premature aging, as it acts as a cell rejuvenator.
Learn about the main causes of premature aging and what the symptoms are.
Ensures Muscle Health
Peanuts help maintain muscle health, as they contain magnesium, an important mineral that helps strengthen muscles, and potassium, which improves muscle contraction. For this reason, peanuts are recommended for those who engage in regular physical exercise.
Additionally, peanuts also contain vitamin E, which increases muscle endurance and improves workout performance, promotes muscle mass increase through exercise, and aids in muscle recovery after training
Reduces the Risk of Fetal Malformations
Peanuts can be an important ally during pregnancy, as they contain iron that aids in the formation of the baby’s nervous system, as well as in its growth and development. Furthermore, iron also helps reduce the risk of infections that are common during pregnancy, such as urinary infections.
Additionally, peanuts also contain folic acid, which is very important during pregnancy as it helps reduce the risk of deficiencies in the baby's brain and spinal cord. Learn more about folic acid during pregnancy, its uses, and how to take it.
Improves Mood
Peanuts help improve mood and reduce stress because they contain tryptophan, a substance that promotes the production of serotonin, known as the "happiness hormone," and increases feelings of well-being.
Peanuts also contain magnesium, which is important for reducing stress, and B vitamins, which contribute to the formation of neurotransmitters, such as serotonin, that help improve mood.
